Creative Expressions Arts (CEA) offers artistic services that include original paintings, photographs, prints, greeting cards, jewelry, books (poetry, short stories, memoirs), and even (occasionally) "upcycled" furniture projects!
Commissions for original paintings are always welcome!
Everything at CEA is made by Indiana artist Alys Caviness-Gober. Alys loves creating an original painting based upon a client’s photograph or description of a loved one, pet, landscape, abstract idea, or favorite vacation spot.

COVID 19 Global Pandemic Art
A note from Alys:
Our world has changed. By the early Spring of 2020, the COVID-19 Global Pandemic affected us all. As a disabled person with several pre-existing conditions and immuno-compromised health like so many people, I was completely isolated from my loved ones from over a year, eagerly awaiting vaccination development. In April of 2021, I became fully vaccinated. Like so many other people, I'm still at high risk from new variants of COVID-19, so, with few exceptions, I'm remaining isolated from the general public.
It hasn't always been easy to stay positive while coming to terms with years of isolation and the fears this particular virus causes for health-compromised people like myself. My writing and artwork has always been comforting, therapeutic, and soul-saving for me, and in this bizarre pandemic, the therapeutic value of Art remains true. In the spirit of support and community, I've added a page to this website that'll feature some of my "Pandemic Era" artwork and writings. I hope that the page becomes "old news" eventually ~ an historic artifact of one of the most difficult times in our lives.
